Refunds & Cancellation

Effective date: August 29, 2026 · ToolVault Pro

ToolVault Pro is a subscription. It renews automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time without contacting us. Which page you cancel on depends on where you bought it, so start by checking that.

The Short Version

  • Cancel any time, yourself. No email required, no retention call, no cancellation fee.
  • Cancelling stops the next charge. It does not claw back the period you have already paid for — you keep Pro until that period ends.
  • Bought through Google Play? You must cancel in the Play Store, and refunds are handled by Google under their policy, not by us.
  • Bought on this website? You cancel in the billing portal, and we handle refunds directly.
  • Unhappy within 14 days? Email us and we will refund the most recent website payment in full.
  • Uninstalling the app does not cancel anything. Neither does deleting your account, if you subscribed through Google Play.

Where You Bought It Decides Everything

ToolVault Pro can be bought two ways, and they are billed by two different companies. We can only act on the one we bill ourselves.

1. Subscriptions bought on unluckytech.com (Stripe)

We bill these through Stripe, so we can cancel and refund them.

To cancel: open ToolVault, go to Settings, tap your account, and choose Manage Subscription. That opens the Stripe billing portal, where you can cancel or change your card. It is the only place a website subscription can be cancelled.

What happens: your subscription stops renewing and you keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not charge a cancellation fee and we do not pro-rate a partial month back to you.

2. Subscriptions bought through Google Play

Google bills these. We cannot cancel them or refund them on your behalf — Google does not give developers that ability, and asking us will only cost you time.

To cancel: open the Play Store app, go to Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, choose ToolVault Pro and cancel. You keep Pro until the end of the paid period.

For a refund: request it through Google Play order history. Google’s refund policy applies and Google makes the decision. If Google declines and you think the charge was our fault rather than theirs, email us anyway and we will look at it.

Refunds on Website Purchases

Within 14 days of a charge, we will refund it in full if ToolVault is not what you wanted. You do not need a reason. Email [email protected] from the address on the account and say which charge you mean. We aim to reply within two business days and the money goes back to the original card.

After 14 days we do not refund a period that has already started, because you have had the use of it — cancel instead and you will not be charged again. If something on our side went wrong — you were charged twice, Pro never activated, the app was broken for you and we could not fix it — that is not a refund request under this policy, it is a mistake we should correct, and there is no time limit on telling us about it.

Deleting Your Account

Deleting your ToolVault account is not the same as cancelling, and it is worth being exact about the difference:

  • A website (Stripe) subscription is cancelled immediately when you delete your account. That means immediately, not at the end of the period — you lose whatever paid time was left, and it is not refunded. If you have paid time remaining and you want to keep using it, cancel first and delete the account after it runs out.
  • A Google Play subscription keeps billing you. We cannot stop it. Deleting your ToolVault account does not touch it — you must cancel in the Play Store yourself, or Google will keep charging for a subscription attached to an account that no longer exists.

Full instructions are on the account deletion page.

Things That Are Not Purchases

Ad-free time earned by watching rewarded ads, and Pro granted by a redemption code, are not sales and carry no refund. They also cannot be transferred or exchanged for money. A redemption code that does not work is a different matter — tell us and we will fix it or issue another.

Price Changes

If we change the price of a subscription you already hold, we will tell you by email before it takes effect, and the new price will only ever apply to a renewal after that notice — never retroactively, and never to a period you have already paid for. You can cancel before the renewal if you do not want it.

Failed Payments

If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries it for a short period. If it keeps failing, the subscription ends and Pro switches off — the app returns to the free tier rather than locking you out, and nothing you created is deleted. You can subscribe again at any time.
